Surrounded by the Dolomites and the Adriatic Sea, the Veneto is an enormous treasury of cultural highlights and unknown natural beauty.

It's also an exceptionally beautiful cycling region full of diversity. You will enjoy many beautiful landscapes and see the most excellent art cities like Vicenza and Padua, but also the unknown city of Chioggia and last but not least Venice! Your tour starts in Mestre, at about 8 kilometres of Venice and easy to reach by plane. The doge city Venice is like a fairy tale, a open-air museum where you can stroll endlessly through the narrow streets and walk over little bridges. It's the most romantic place of Italy where the age-old buildings, San Marco church and Doge Palace show the wealth of this powerful city-state of olden days. Venice is a city to remember forever!

You continue your journey by ferry through the Giudecca canal where we dream away with magnificent views. We cycle on the little islands Malmocco and Pellistrina, that separates the sea and the lagoon. The trip to Padua follows the course of two rivers, once important trade routes. Cycling along the Brenta and the Bacchiglione is relaxing and shows us the wealth of this agrarian region. When you are approaching Padua, you will first see the basilica of St. Anthony. This city is with its 3000 year old history one of the most important art cities of Italy.

The same goes for Vicenza, which we reach along the bank of the Bacchiglione. Vicenza is the city of the famous architect Andrea Palladio, who built famous residences in the hinterland of Venice. In the peaceful centre of Vicenza, many beautiful buildings are designed by the same artist. You continue to Bassano del Grappa where the Ponte Vecchio, a covered wooden bridge, is the most important object of interest. The last days you complete the circle via Treviso and then back to Mestre. This tour will be fantastic, easy to cycle and crowned with natural beauty and cultural richness.
